Xiaomi Redmi Watch 3, Band 2 and Redmi Buds 4 Lite official price and specifications
Xiaomi today officially launched the new phones of the series Redmi K60 and the new Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed midranger, and in addition to that, three smart wearable devices were launched, It is the Redmi Watch 3, the new Band 2 bracelet with a thin and lightweight body, and the Buds 4 Lite headphones in fancy colors at a low price.
Starting today, all of these Redmi devices are available for purchase in China, and here are the details of the watch, bracelet, and headphones.
1- Redmi Watch 3
The new wearable device comes with a square AMOLED screen with a diameter of 1.75 inches, with a density of 341 pixels per inch, and supports a refresh rate of 60 Hz, and Redmi said that its brightness can reach 600 nits.
The body has flat sides - similar to the current trend in smartphones - and there only one solid button on the side.
The Redmi Watch 3 brings an Always-On display, and while the device is running, it can have more than 200 different watch faces.
Xiaomi has also improved the Watch 3 battery, as it can now work for 12 days on a single charge, with continuous SpO2 (blood oxygen) and heart rate monitoring, and the device is certified for underwater use at 5 ATM, and also works with GNSS for accurate tracking in sports.
Speaking of sports, there are 121 different workout modes, and the wearable can work independently without the need for a smartphone companion, as it has GPS.
However, a phone is needed to make Bluetooth calls, and the company has brought a noise-reducing microphone to improve call quality.
The Redmi Watch 3 is priced at 499 CNY (about 72$), and comes in black or white (which is closer to ivory), though there are three colored straps for further customization, each costing an additional 10$.
2- Redmi Band 2
With the launch of this wearable device, the boundaries between the smart watch and the smart bracelet have become more blurry and ambiguous than ever before, as some people do not differentiate between the watch and the bracelet due to the convergence of specifications, colors and features!
The Band 2 has a 1.47 inch screen, about 76% larger than the first launched Redmi Band, and the band itself measures 9.99 mm thick and weighs 14.9g.
This device does not support Bluetooth calls but still offers great features such as blood oxygen measurement and a menstrual cycle tracker for women. There are also more than 30 exercise modes, The battery can last six days on a single charge with heavy use or about 14 days with “normal” use.
Redmi Band 2 will cost around 159 CNY (equivalent to 23$) until the end of 2022, and then in early 2023 the price will jump to 25$.
There are six color options available to users: fluorescent green, rose gold, black, light blue, dark green, and white.
3- Redmi Buds 4 Lite
These earphones are also called “youth” in Chinese, as they are advertised to a young audience who like bright colors.
Buds 4 Lite come with a 12mm driver for deep bass and intelligent noise reduction during calls, each bud weighs just 3.9g, and the complete package with Buds + case provides up to 20 hours of battery life.
Other specifications include Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity that does wonders for instant connection to select Xiaomi devices, and the buds are IP54 certified against ingress of water and dust.
The Redmi Buds 4 Lite come in white and black which are pretty standard colours, the more interesting options are orange where the buds and case are brightly coloured, and green where only the buds and the inside of the case share the same paint job.
In terms of price, the new headphones will cost 139 Chinese yuan (equivalent to 20$) until the end of the year; Then the price will change to 22$ !
