Samsung is preparing to launch the latest Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 foldable phone. According to the latest report, the South Korean tech giant is expected to price the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 foldable phone at a lower price than its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Fold 4.

According to a new report, the price of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 is expected to reach $1,699, which is $100 less than the price of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 when the phone was launched. Note that this price is just leaks, and the company has not announced any information about the price yet.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 specifications
It was reported that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 will have a 7.6-inch AMOLED screen with a QHD + resolution and a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD + resolution, and both screens provide support for a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
The phone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, with up to 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
As for the camera department, the phone will have a triple rear camera unit consisting of a 50-megapixel primary lens, a 12-megapixel wide lens, and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens. While on the front, it will house a 12MP camera and it is also rumored to feature a 4MP camera under the display.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 will run Android 13 with the company One UI custom user interface. The device will be powered by a 4,400mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging and 15W wireless charging.
Notably, Samsung has confirmed that it will host the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event in Seoul, South Korea. While the date has not yet been announced, But it is expected to take place at the end of July, most likely on July 27. The company is also expected to host a separate launch event in North America for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 phones.
